The second half of the season has started and teams are making there statements to show why they are the best and players are making there individual award statements. As of lately the Milwaukee Bucks led by 2018-2019 NBA MVP Giannis Antetekumpo have clinched the first playoff spot of the year in the Eastern Conference. They hold the leagues best record at 53-11. Next we have the defending NBA champions the Toronto Raptors who also clinched a playoff spot with a current record of 44-18. Over in the Western Conference the red hot Los Angeles Lakers have also clinched a playoff spot with a record of 49-13. They have been red hot as there star Lebron James is making another case for MVP thus it being his 17th year in the NBA. He is averaging 25.6 points, 10.7 assists and 7.8 rebounds. He is fresh off a huge game against the Milwaukee Bucks scoring 37 points 8 rebounds and 8 assists against the NBAs best team. Adding to that he also helped his team to a big win against inner town rivals the Los Angeles clippers. He added 28 points, 9 assist and 7 rebounds to help his team come out on top and again improve his campaign for the MVP award.

More around the NBA rookie star Zion Williamson is making his case for rookie of the year and trying to help his team get a playoff spot. He is averaging 23.6 points and 6.8 rebounds in just 18 games played this year. He is slowly taking the game by storm with high flying play making abilities. Who is in his way for that last playoff spot and ROTY award. Front runner Ja Morant. He is currently averaging 17.6 points and 7 assists.
